RLY-800 Radio Frequency Relay (Brazil)
Installing the RLY-800 on a Light Pole Arm
Mounting the RLY-800 to a light pole arm requires
two customer-supplied band clamps.
Ensure that the front door has room to open at least
90 degrees. The minimum required clearance is 8
inches (20.3 cm) in front of the mounting surface.
Perform the following steps to install the RLY-800 on
a light pole arm:
1. Identify the mounting location for the RLY-800
on the light pole arm.
2. Orient the RLY-800 and mounting bracket
assembly as required for the installation.
If the RLY-800 uses an internal antenna, mount
the device on the bottom side of the light pole
arm so that the door is facing the ground as
shown in
If the RLY-800 uses an external antenna
installed on the RLY-800 enclosure, mount the
device on the side of the light pole arm as
shown in
3. Secure the RLY-800 and mounting bracket
assembly to the light pole arm using band clamps.
The clamps are installed at each end of the
bracket covering the lag bolt holes.
If an external remote antenna is to be used with
the RLY-800, proceed with
