Instructions for the FP-6000 Protective Relay
Figure 57. Autoreclose Control Logic State.
Once in Ready mode, if any blocking condition exists such as:
•
External autoreclose blocking through contact input
•
Undervoltage blocking
•
Programmable blocking logic active or
•
Manual/remote closing in progress
The autoreclose logic will ignore any reclose initiate and stay in
Ready mode if there is no lockout signal. However, if there is
either an external lockout command or a general programmable
lockout logic active, or both, the autoreclose logic will go to
Lockout mode.
Figure 58. Autoreclose Control Blocking Logic in Ready Mode.
Without blocking and lockout, the autoreclose logic will wait for a
reclose initiate. The reclose initiate can be any one of six
designate options:
•
52CSa52b (control switch is in close position while breaker is
open, in other words, control switch and break status are in
disagreement)
•
52b (breaker open)
•
Protection trip (overcurrent only or including voltage)
•
Protection trip followed by 52b
•
Programmable reclose initiate logic 79RI (user defined)
•
External 79RI (user-defined other than 52b, 52CSa52b).
