5.34 VC, value limitation
This function block is available for easy800-SWD from device version 01 and
for easy800 standard devices from device version 04.
The Value limitation function block enables you to output values within
defined limit values. A easy800 device allows the use of up to 32 value
limiters.

Example of the value limitation function block:
Figure 201:Wiring the function block coil
The enable coil of the function block is connected directly to a device
terminal.
Parametric programming of the function block inputs/outputs
When using the function block in the circuit diagram for the first time, use
OK to automatically enter the general display of function block parameters,
as shown in the figure on the left. Enter the function block settings here.
The display contains the following elements:
Inputs
I1: You assign the value to be output within the limit values at the function
block input I1.
SH and SL: The upper and lower limit setpoint values are set at function
block inputs SH and SL respectively.
You can assign the following operands to function block inputs I1, SH and SL:
•
Constant
•
Markers MD, MW, MB
•
Analog inputs IA01 to IA04:
•
IA01: Terminal I7
•
IA02: Terminal I8
•
IA03: Terminal I11
•
IA04: Terminal I12
