8.1 Password protection

Modify the six password digits using the cursor buttons.
▶
Confirm with OK.
Use ESC to close the entry screen.
8.1.5 Delete password
▶
Press DEL and ALT to call up the System menu.
▶
Open the password menu via SECURITY... -> PASSWORD…->
CHANGE PW.
If a password is not entered, the easy800 device shows six dashes.
An existing password is displayed with XXXXXX.
8.1.6 Password no longer known or incorrect
If you no longer know the exact password, you can try to re-enter the
password several times. If the DELETE PROG function is activated in the
AREAS menu, the password can be entered as often as required.
Have you entered an incorrect password?

Re-enter the password.
After the fifth entry attempt easy800 device will ask whether you wish to
delete the circuit diagram and data.

: Circuit diagram, data or password are not deleted.

OK
: Circuit diagram, data and password are deleted.
easy800 will return to the Status display.
Pressing
ESC
will retain the circuit diagram and data. You can then make
another five attempts to enter the password.
