5.1.4.4 Call waiting: On def. | On once | On mute | Off
Main menu\User settings\Call waiting
The call waiting selection parameter specifies how the device should proceed with a call that occurs during an active
phone conversation. If call waiting is switched off, the device enters the caller in the call list of inbound calls, and the
caller immediately receives the “Busy” signal tone. If call waiting is switched on, the call is first signaled optically and, if
applicable, acoustically on the device, and the recipient decides how to proceed. The recipient can reject the caller with
the

key sequence or establish a connection with them with the key sequence . During the signaling, the caller
receives the “Call waiting” signal tone, “Busy” in case of rejection, or otherwise the desired voice connection.
To change the setting, set the selection parameter described below to your desired value and, if you have changed the
setting, press the menu key as often as necessary until the saving of the change is confirmed with the text overlay

The display phone no. selection parameter specifies whether the caller’s phone number is transmitted to the call recipient
in outbound calls. When the device is in idle mode, the switched off display phone no. is indicated by the icon, which
appears on the left of the display footer.
To change the setting, set the selection parameter described below to your desired value and, if you have changed the
setting, press the menu key as often as necessary until the saving of the change is confirmed with the text overlay

The headset parameter specifies whether the headset conversation modes are enabled and are activated or disabled with
corresponding key actuations. The enabling of the headset is indicated when the phone is in idle mode in the right of the
display footer by the icon.
To change the setting, set the selection parameter described below to your desired value and, if you have changed the
setting, press the menu key as often as necessary until the saving of the change is confirmed with the text overlay
