Configuring Users for Encrypted SNMP v3
The SNMP v3 protocol allows for encrypted communication. To take advantage of
this, users need to have a Encryption Phrase, which acts as a shared secret between
them and the ePDU. This encryption phrase can be set in the User Management
page.

Users & Groups

Select the user profile you want to modify from the
Existing Users
list.

If you want to use the user’s password as their Encryption Phrase select the
Use
Password as Encryption Phrase
check box if it not already selected.
