2. Unit installation
2.1 Unit inspection
After the arrival of the goods, the unit should be checked if all the main parts and the packaged parts have been
received, and the parts of the unit should be inspected on the truck and checked for visible damage before
unloading. If any missing parts are found, the carrier should be informed immediately to inspect.
Eaton Corporation is not responsible for the damage or loss of parts caused by transportation or from the
construction site. The unit should be checked against the packing list at the site. If there is any shortage, please
inform Eaton Corporation immediately.
2.2 Unit storage
After acknowledging the receipt of the unit, the customer shall bear the responsibility for the correct custody and
installation of the unit.
NOTICE
If the unit needs to be stored before installation, the following preventive measures should be taken:
- Ensure that all openings such as water pipes and copper pipes have protective covers.
- Store the unit in a dry and vibration-free place with less personnel activity.
- Rain-proof measures should be taken when it is stored outdoors. Do not expose unit to the sun.
- If there is ash/dust on the unit, do not wash it with steam or water.
- The unit should be inspected regularly during storage.
2.3 Unit handling
The outdoor unit has a compressor, so the balance of the body should be maintained in the process of handling,
and the left and right tilt angles of the air conditioner should not exceed ±15 ° in the process of loading and
unloading, as shown in the following figure: 2.1.

In the process of unloading and handling, mechanical handling tools should be selected as far as possible, such
as forklifts. Please position the fork in the middle position
