Cutting shaft to desired length
Re-installing handle and shaft
Cut to desired length
Smooth out cut end
Handle and shaft are factory assembled as one unit.
To facilitate cutting of shaft to desired length,
use a
3 mm
(0.12“) hex wrench or driver to loosen
inner screw at base of handle and remove handle
and shaft unit from housing.
Re-install handle and shaft unit after cutting,
and re-tighten inner hex screw as shown.
Fasten door-mounted handle coupling piece
(supplied as part of the kit) to other end of shaft as shown.
