1.
Use Class 1 wiring methods (as defined by the NEC) for control wiring. The wire should be
rated at 600 volts, 1A minimum and 12 AWG maximum. Use twisted–pair wires for each
input and common. All control wiring is customer-provided.
2.
When installing aux contact control wiring to the IAC interface terminals for standalone
installations, conduit must be installed between the UPS cabinet and the IAC. Install the
control wiring in separate conduit from the power wiring.
3.
Alarms display as Building Alarm 1 and Building Alarm 2 on the UPS Control Panel Display
Screen, unless the alarms are programmed to display the alarm functional name.
