Initial Configuration
1.
Select
Rack Monitor Setup
from
Management
of the main menu to set
up the network configuration parameters (see Figure 20).
2.
Click the Become Administrator button at the bottom of the screen.
Enter
EATON
as the login name and
admin
as the password.
3.
Enter the ERM IP address.
4.
Enter the ERM Gateway Address in the network.
5.
Enter the ERM Subnet Mask of the network.
6.
Select
Set Value
to save the settings.
7.
Select
Date and Time
from
Management
of the main menu and enter
the appropriate date and time information in the specified format.
8.
Select
Set Value
to save the date and time settings.
9.
Select
Rack Monitor Control
to enable or disable the network
protocols (see Figure 21).
10.
Select
Apply
to save the changes.
11.
Select
Restart Rack Monitor
.
