3.4 Installation and connectivity
The Sonix 350-d is designed as a part of Sonix PA/GA
system and as such, bulk of the amplifier’s connections
are made with CAT6A cables and colour coordinated
with border around its rear RJ45 connectors.

3.4.1 Physical
installation
The unit is designed to be fitted inside the industry
standard 19” enclosure, fixed with appropriate size
screw. Depending on the rack and cage nuts used, they
can be either M5 or M6 fitted through four mounting
holes provided on the front panel. Due to its weight, it
also requires to be installed on shelves or other weight
support structure.
Stacking units is allowed for a maximum of three
units, due to the heat being generated while operating
under full load. To assist the air flow and cooling of the
amplifiers, the ventilation space of at least 1U is required
before next unit (either another 350-d or any other Sonix
module) can be mounted above.
