4.4.2  Zone selection

Setting the unit to “zoned” operation as indicated on the 

front panel allows the user to enter specific zoning for 

the subsequent message to be broadcast into.

To enter the zoning information the user will require a 

telephone capable of touch tone dialling to send the 

appropriate command(s) to the unit for the user to select 

zones.

To broadcast to specific zones, the user enters the 

required zoning information when indicated by the unit 

according to the flow chart below. Each zone requested, 

is entered using the telephones key pad as shown 

below:

The user can either wait for the timeout to occur after entering 

zoning information or press “#”.

The announcement if loaded will precede the call answered tone 

(a series of bleeps) relayed over the telephone at the start of zoning.
