Danger of short circuit!
Ensure that no metallic objects come close
to the battery contacts and the charging
plug.
The cell manufacturers specify the work area
with 0-40 ° C. Optimal are 18-25 ° C. Below
10 ° C by the increased internal resistance,
the performance may deteriorate to such an
extent that they are not long enough for the
operation of a pedelecs. The electrolytes in the
cell may not freeze, what minimum temperature
of corresponds to -40 ° C. Cell manufacturers
recommend storage at 15 ° C at a Charge level
of 60% - a compromise between accelerated
aging and Self-discharge.
Electrical devices should not be connected
to the mains over long periods without
supervision. Hence, you should pull out
the power plug from the mains socket
during vacations or during long periods of
absence.
Sleep Mode
If your pedelec is not used for more than 10
days the battery automatically switches to
sleep mode. This has a lower self-discharge
and hereby provides for a longer battery life. In
the sleep mode, the battery do not shows any
capacity. Through a short plug in the charger,
the battery will be “awakened” and shows you
again to the current capacity of the battery
