Features and Functions 

Charge Your eBookwise eBook Device 

 

Use the power adapter to fully charge your eBook device while using it for the first time.  The battery is built in and cannot be removed.  To 

charge your eBook device:  

 

1.

 

Locate the power adapter that came packed with your eBook device. 

 

2.

 

Open the tab on the top of your eBook device. 

 

3.

 

Plug the power adapter into an electrical outlet, then connect the other end to 

the adapter port on the top of your eBook device. 

 

Keep your eBook device connected to the power adapter for up to two hours to fully 
charge the battery for the first time.  When charging is complete, disconnect the power 

adapter. You can now use your eBook device anywhere. 

 

Note:  You can begin using your eBook device while it is charging, but it will take more than two hours to charge fully.

Adjusting Brightness and Contrast 

Use the Page Orientation Icon to adjust the brightness and contrast of your eBook device to your personal needs.
