PRIME Mini Dash Cam User Manual
Cautions for product use
• If the product has been damaged by an accident or due to other reasons, the Mini dash cam
video data may not be recorded.
• If the product has been used for a long time or is exposed to severe vibrations from driving on a
rough unpaved road, etc., changes in the product’s angle or position can cause malfunctions.
• Because this product uses a camera, if a brightness change is abrupt as when entering or exiting
a tunnel or in an extreme light environment such as at high noon when the backlight is strong or
at midnight when there is no light, the recorded image may not be in good quality.
• Before you use the product for the first time after opening it, make sure to format the SD card.
• Before separating the SD card from the product, make sure to power off the product. Removing
the SD card during operation can cause malfunctions or data loss.
• There may be small delays in GPS satellite reception depending on the weather or surrounding
environment.
• If the product is used together with another device that generates electromagnetic waves or
another similar GPS product, its GPS reception performance may deteriorate.
• Controlling or gazing at the product while driving is dangerous and can cause an accident. Be
extra cautious of such actions.
• Due to the product’s characteristics, it may fail to record some images when the temperature is
below -20 C or above 70 C. (Wi-Fi performance is guaranteed in 0~60 C.)
• Do not modify or cut the cigar jack cable. The user is responsible for any resulting damage on
the product or vehicle.
• Do not overly tint the windows. Excessive tinting can interfere with recording. (Depending on
the tinting condition, the video brightness and clarity can vary.)
• Do not apply excessive force to the buttons on the product. Doing so can cause product
malfunctions.
Cautions!
• If no power is supplied to the Mini dash cam for a long period of non-use, the Mini dash
cam date may be initialized. Thus, shortly after you purchase the Mini dash cam or if
you have not connected it to the power supply for a long time, make sure to check the
recording dates and times.
• If the date has been initialized, make sure to connect the product’s main body and a
mobile phone through Wi-Fi and synchronize the time. (When the two are connected, the
Mini dash cam’s time is automatically set to the mobile phone’s time.
• For trouble-free video recording, periodically check operation of the main body and the
SD card as well as the recorded video.
• Do not hold the power cable with a wet hand when pulling or plugging in the power cable.
(Doing so can cause a fire or electrical shock.)
• Keep the product out of reach of children or pets. (The product can cause fatal injury to children
or pets.)
• The manufacturer holds all the rights to the product's hardware, software, and data. Anyone
who illegally copies, processes, or distributes the product can be subject to civil compensation
for damage or criminal punishments according to the act of intellectual property rights
protection.
Cautions for SD card management
• Only use an SD card that has the specifications set by the company. Be aware that the company
is not responsible for any failure such as incomplete video recording due to an SD card problem.
• Do not modify or disassemble the SD card on your own. (The product can malfunction, and you
become no longer eligible to receive repair service.)
• The SD card is a consumable. If you have used it continuously for a long time, make sure to
replace it with a new one.
• Using the card for a long time may make it unable to properly save the image data.
• Periodically check the videos recorded in the SD card to make sure that the product operates
properly.
• If you want to keep certain data, safely store them in a storage medium other than the SD card.
• Because the SD card is a consumable, its warranty period is 6 months.
• Before removing the SD card from the main body, make sure to first remove the power
connection to the product then wait until the main body's LED is turned off.
• If you separate the SD card by force, the product may be damaged.
• During storage or conveyance, static electricity or external voltage may destroy data. Therefore,
make sure to keep the card inside the card case.
• [Recommended]
Format the SD card about once every month regularly.
• [How to format the SD card on a PC]
On the user's PC, format the SD card by using the “FAT32”
