Network standby mode
Network standby is a standard that allows you to turn on or wake up the device via a network message. The
message will be sent to the device via a program running on a remote device that is connected to the same
local network as the smartphone.
Your TV is WoWLAN compatible. This feature may not be available during the First Installation process. To
enable this feature, set the Network Standby option in the Network menu to On. The device from which the
network message will be sent to the TV and the TV must be connected to the same network. Network Standby
is only supported for Android devices and can only be used through the YouTube and Netflix apps.
To use this feature, the TV and remote device should be connected while the TV is on. If the TV is switched off,
the connection should be restored the next time you switch it on. Otherwise, this option will not be available.
This does not apply when the TV is switched to standby mode.
The performance of some devices on the market may vary depending on the software architecture. To use
the Network Standby feature with better performance, make sure your device has the latest firmware version.
If you want your TV to consume less power in standby mode, you can disable this feature by setting Mains
Standby to
Off.
Wireless screen
Wireless screen is the standard for streaming video and audio content. This feature provides the ability to use
the TV as a wireless display device.
Use with mobile devices
There's an easy way to project the content of your mobile device's display onto your TV. This way you can view
(mirror) photos, videos and other content from your mobile device's display on the big screen TV. This feature
also allows you to play audio.
Make sure your mobile device and TV are connected to the same router/ Wi-Fi network. Then press the
Source
button on the remote control and scroll to the Wireless Display sources.
A screen will appear to indicate that the TV is ready to connect.
