MAINTENANCE AND CLEANING
Before cleaning, turn the humidifier off by turning the knob all the way to the left and unplug it.
Warning:
•
Never immerse the base of the appliance in water.
•
Do not use solvents or other aggressive substances for cleaning.
•
Clean the inside of the appliance with a soft cloth.
•
Clean the mist generator (black ring at the bottom of the inner part of the humidifier) with a soft brush
only.
1. Mist generator
•
In some areas there is hard water, which causes relatively rapid scale formation on the surface of the
generator. In this case, its surface should be cleaned with a regular detergent.
•
Apply a small amount of regular detergent on the surface of the generator, pour the water in the space
around it and immerse it completely in water. Let it act for 10–15 minutes.
•
Carefully clean the generator with a soft brush until the scale disappears completely.
•
Rinse the surface twice with water.
•
Do not use a metallic or other hard or surface damaging means to clean the inverter surface and do not
scratch or damage the surface of the diffuser.
2. Inner surface of the tank
•
If you use the appliance daily, clean the inside of the water tank and the bottom of the humidifier at least
twice a week.
•
If scale appears in the tank, wipe it with a soft cloth.
•
Dirt may appear in the tank and should be cleaned with a regular cleaning agent. In this case, use a regular
detergent and wash all detergent residues after cleaning.
•
Do not use any acid, alkaline substances or other solvents or bleaches to clean the water tank to avoid
damaging the humidifier.
3. The inner surface of the lower part of the humidifier
•
Empty water from the bottom of the unit, clean the surface with a brush and wipe with a damp cloth.
•
Rinse the inner parts with water.
4. Replacement of water filter
We recommend replacing the cartridge with water filter every 6 months.
1. Unplug the appliance.
2. Remove the water tank and turn it upside down.
3. Unscrew the water tank cap. The filter cartridge is screwed into the inner part of this cap.
4. Unscrew the old cartridge from the cap and replace it with a new one.
5. Screw the cap with the new cartridge back into the water tank and return the tank to the humidifier.
