AUDIO SETUP PAGE
There are two items on the AUDIO SETUP
page: ANALOG AUDIO and DIGITAL AUDIO.
ANALOG AUDIO
OUTPUT
LT/RT
: 5.1 –channel audio is mixed into the
left and right channel and played from left
front or left right speaker.
STEREO
: 5.1-channel audio is mixed into
stereo signal and is played through the
front left and front right speakers.
NOTE:
This function is applied only to 5.1
channel discs with audio encoded
in Dolby AC-3.
DIGITAL AUDIO
SPDIF OUTPUT
SPDIF/OFF
: No digital audio signal output. (Coaxial off )
SPDIF/RAW:
The digital audio signal is brought to the output in an unedited format.
SPDIF/PCM:
The digital audio signal is brought to the output in PCM format.
OUTPUT LPCM
This item is accessible if
OUTPUT SPDIF
is set to
SPDIF/PCM
.
Select the sampling frequency for the digital audio output. There are two options available, 48KHz and
96KHz.
NOTE:
Some amplifi ers do not support sampling frequency 96 KHz, which aff ects the coaxial output.

DUAL MONO
STEREO
: The device plays the audio of
the left channel and the audio of the right
channel through the left front speaker or
the right front speaker.
L-MONO
: The device plays only the audio
of the left channel through the left front
and right front speakers.
P-MONO
: The device plays only the audio
of the right channel through the left front
and the right front speakers.
MIXED-MONO
: The unit plays mixed
audio from the left and right channels
through the left and right front speakers.
NOTE:
This function is only for two-
channel discs with audio encoded in Dolby AC-3.
DYNAMIC
When you watch movies with wide dynamic range at low volume, for example at night, you set the dynamic
range in a way that you do not lose sound details because of low volume.
