Tips and recommendations
•
If you line the pulp container with a plastic bag, you will make the cleaning of the appliance easier.
•
Use fresh fruits and vegetables – they contain more juice.
•
Fruits suitable for juicing include: pineapple, apples, cucumber, celery, carrots, melons, tomatoes and most
of the citrus fruit.
•
The individual varieties of apples have juice of varied taste and consistency. By experimenting with various
combinations, you can find your favourite taste.
•
Fibrous varieties of fruits and vegetables with very firm flesh, like bananas, mango, papaya and avocado,
are not very suitable for juicing, since the result is often crushed fruit instead of juice.
•
The juice should be consumed immediately after it is made, because fresh juice exposed to air oxidizes
rapidly and loses important nutritional values and the taste can deteriorate as well.
•
Fresh apple juice exposed to air becomes rapidly brown. To prevent colour change, serve immediately
after juicing or add a few drops of lemon juice.
•
Do not forget that the pulp can be used to make cakes, to prepare vegetarian lasagne, in muffins, etc.
