USING THE SYSTEM
Before switching on the device
•
Set the device on a flat, stable surface, with controls easily accessible.
•
Ensure adequate ventilation of the device.
Power (battery):
•
Open the cover of the battery compartment and insert Li-Ion battery 3,7 V. Keep the correct polarity of the
batteries marked in the battery compartment.
WARNING:
• Do not expose the batteries and accumulators to excessive temperatures, e.g. to direct sunlight,
close to fire, etc. There is danger of explosion.
• Do not dispose of batteries and accumulators in a regular household waste. Dispose of them in
a special collection place.
Charging the battery
Insert in the DC 5V IN jack the USB cable and plug the other end of the cable into the USB charger (optional
accessory) or a USB interface capable of providing 5V power supply. The charging ot the device takes about
2 hours. The charging indicator flashes during battery charging. Do not leave the device connected to the
charger for more than 24 hours.
Important:
If the device is not used for a long time, the battery can be discharged and go into "sleep" mode. This is a general
characteristic of Li-Ion batteries. At the subsequent first charging (battery awakening) we recommend charging
for at least five hours (but do not exceed the 24-hour charging period).
Radio
1. When you move the switch in the ON position, you will turn the device on.
2. Press and hold the button Next or Previous to start searching for radio stations.
3. Using the volume buttons Vol- a Vol+ set the required volume.
4. When you move the switch to the OFF position, you will turn the device off.
Presets of radio stations
1. Press the button Play for 2 seconds to start automatic search of presets. When all the stations are found,
the search will automatically stop.
2. Press briefly the button Next or Previous to switch between the preset stations.
Improving reception:
•
Extend the telescopic antenna. When you turn or tilt the antenna, you can achieve an optimum reception.
In the event of a strong FM signal (close to the transmitter) you can shorten the telescopic antenna by
sliding it in.
Playback from USB or SD/MMC and TF cards
The device is able to decode and play MP3 tracks stored on a USB memory device or on a memory card.
1. Press the button MP3/Radio to switch into the MP3 mode.
2. When connecting a USB memory device, pay attention to the correct orientation of the USB connector.
Insert the memory card straight, to avoid its bending.
3. The device automatically reads MP3 files from a USB storage device or memory card.
4. Control the playback using the buttons Next, Previous and Play.
Warning:
•
Incorrectly connected USB storage device or memory card inserted upside down can cause damage to the
device or storage medium.
