Grilling tips
Pay attention to the quality of grilled products, the freshness of meat, vegetables, fish and marinades.
Always wash your hands before preparing meat, poultry and fish and keep your grilling instruments
clean. Keep the food you intend to prepare in the refrigerator until the last moment, never leave meat
to marinate at room temperature. Do not place already grilled meat onto a plate or counter, where raw
meat was prepared before, always maintain a sufficiently high temperature for roasting through. Try
following the same procedure even for grilling forks and other instruments.
Cooking
After the warm-up stage, this device is prepared for use:
With the raclette function,
each guest places a slice of cheese into his pan and the pans are then
inserted into the device. Do not leave empty pans in the device.
When using the stone plate,
each guest places slices of meat, fish, vegetables or fruit onto the stone
to grill.
Do not place frozen or heavy foods on a hot stone. Do not allow the stone to come into contact
with acidic foods such as vinegar products, mustard, sour pickles, pickled vegetables...
Do not put any foreign objects onto the stone.
Do not leave an empty device on for longer than 30 minutes: the stone will become too
overheated for quality grilling.
Note:
Small cracks, caused by the stone expanding, are natural and do not affect the function of the
device. This is not considered a reason for returning the device. After being used several times,
the stone will get a non-removable dark colour. When using the device for the first time, the
first few minutes of use can be accompanied by a smell and smoke. Do not touch hot surfaces
of the device.
Place all ingredients in the middle of the table prior to roasting, turn on the device and roast according
to the manual. Do not forget the various side dishes, for example relish, pickled onions, preserved red
beets or cherries, which give the food a richer taste and contribute to a pleasant evening.
CLEANING AND mAINTENANCE
Before cleaning or handling the device in any way, disconnect the cord from the socket and leave the
device to cool. Allow the stone to cool at least an hour before cleaning and storing. Do not touch the
stone during this period.
Keep the device away from children during the cool down period.
After the device has cooled, wipe the stone plate, grill, pans and appliance base with a cloth and use a
slightly damp cloth with a dishwashing agent for cleaning the most contaminated areas.
Do not use rough sponges or cleaning powder. Do not immerse the appliance or power cord into water.
Safety measures before cleaning the stone plate
Each stone is natural and unique. Each stone is more and less penetrable depending on its unique
properties and by immersing the stone into water during the cleaning process could result in the stone
cracking or breaking upon heating the device again.
Clean the stone under a weak flow of water and wipe dry. Do not use cleaning agents.
Do not immerse the stone into warm or cold water.
Do not place the stone into the dishwasher
