GRILLED SWEETS
Grilled mozzarella with strawberries
recipe for 4 persons
400 g of mozzarella
500 g of strawberries
80 g of powder sugar
lime
1 spoon of egg liqueur, olive oil
Preparation:
1. Set the four best looking strawberries aside for final decorating, remove the stem from the
remaining strawberries, insert into mixer, add powder sugar without lumps.
2. Mix juice squeezed from lime and 1 spoon of egg liqueur into a thick purée.
3. Leave the topping stand for 15 minutes, preferably in the refrigerator.
4. In the mean time, prepare cheese - cut about 1cm, add a bit of olive oil, insert into raclette pan and
grill for about 8-10 minutes.
5. Move the warm cheese to the plate and pour the cool strawberry sauce, decorate with cut
strawberries and serve immediately.
Baked fruit mix
recipe for 4 persons
1 pack of puff pastry
1 spoon of flour
20 g of melted butter
1 egg white
a pinch of salt
1 spoon of caster sugar
200 g of raspberry or currant jelly
200 g of wild strawberries
200 g of raspberries and currant
Preparation:
1. Roll the puff pastry on a floured surface, grease the dough with melted butter and cut into raclette
pan sized rectangles.
2. Whip solid snow from the egg white and add a pinch of salt. Add caster sugar throughout the
whipping progress.
3. Place the dough into the raclette pans. Place them under the grill ad wait until the dough rises. (You
can pre-bake the dough in an oven. It will save you time, but is not as entertaining).
4. Pour jelly on the crunchy and golden baked dough and decorate with fruit. Cover with egg white
snow and bake until the snow turns pink.
