RICE COOKING TABLE
The supplied measuring cup is used in the tables as a unit of volume.
This measuring cup does not represent a standard metric
cup.
1 measuring cup corresponds to 140 g of raw rice or 185 ml
of water.
If you loose the measuring cup, you can use another type of
measuring cup while preserving the proportions noted in
the tables, however, take care that you do not exceed the
mark of the max. fi ll in the cooking vessel (10 measuring
cups):
White rice = 1 cup of water: 1 cup of rice
Brown rice = 1,5 cup of water: 1 cup of rice

TIPS
•
When you add more water, the rice becomes fl uffi er, when you remove
water the rice becomes tougher.
•
Some types of rice need more water, for example wild rice, Arborio rice of
short grain rice. Therefore always adjust the recipe as needed. Use se the
instructions on the package or use the table for brown rice.
•
When cooking in a larger amount of water the inside of the lid may be
splashed by water drops with starch. To achieve the best results, rinse the
rice before cooking and let it stand for 20 minutes after fi nishing cooking
to absorb the excess water.
CLEANING AND CARE
AFTER EACH USE
•
After use, switch the cooker off and unplug it.
•
Before dismantling and cleaning, let all the parts cool off .
•
Wash the cooking vessel and lid in warm, soapy water, rinse and dry.
•
We do not recommend washing parts of the cooker in the dishwasher,
aggressive chemicals and hot water can stain the cooker and cause other
damage on parts of the cooker.
ATTENTION: Do not use abrasive cleaners, steel wool
or wire brushes and abrasive sponges, the non-stick
surface could be damaged.
•
You can wipe the stainless steel body of the cooker with wet cloth and then
dry it off .
NOTE:
DO NOT IMMERSE THE BODY OF THE COOKER IN WATER OR OTHER
LIQUIDS.
FOR YOUR SAFETY
•
Do not use the appliance if the power cord or the outlet is damaged, if it fell
or if it was damaged in any way or if the appliance does not work properly.
In that case, return the complete product to the vendor to check, repair
or replace.
•
If you do not use the appliance, always switch it off and unplug it while
dismantling, cleaning and assembling it. Disconnect the power cord by
pulling on the plug – never yank the cable.
SERVICE

The product does not contain any repairable parts. If the appliance falls
or shows any mechanical damage, or if the appliance malfunctions, return
it to the vendor or send it off to an authorized service center to check it.
