Installing the Handle 

Parts needed for this procedure: 

Oval-head bolts 
Curved washers 
Handle knobs 



 

Procedure 

1. 

Position the ends of the upper  handle on 
the  inside  of  the  lower  handle  and  align 
the holes. 

2. 

Insert the oval-head bolts into the aligned 
holes,  with  the  bolt  heads  on  the  outside 
of the handle (Figure 1).  

3. 

Install the curved washers and the handle 
knobs  on  the  bolt  on  the  inside  of  the 
handle  (Figure  1)  and  tighten  the  knobs 
securely. 

 

Important:  Ensure  that  the  cable  is 
routed to the outside of the handle.

Install  the  recoil  starter  handle  in  the  rope
