SHIELD

Fit the shield on the gear housing and tighten screws
with washers (Seven points) as shown.

SHOULDER HARNESS

Fit the shoulder starp to the swivel hook, and
adjust the length of starp and or the locaion clamps
to maintain the cutter head parallel to the ground.

GENERAL CHECK

Eneure that all nuts, screws and bolts installed
are properly tightened.

FUEL STATEMENT

GASOLINE : Use 89 octane (

    )  gasoline or

gasohol known to be good quality. Gasohol may contain
maximum 10% ethyl (grain) alcohol or 15% MTBE
(methyl tertiary-butyl ether). Gasohol containing methyl
(wood) alcohol is not approved.

OIL : ECHO brand premium two-stroke 50:1 oil is
reguirred.
Mix oil and gasoline /gasohol according to insturctions
on the oil container label.

Remove the cover.

Remove nut (A) and one washer from throttle
cable.

Insert throttle cable througn the hole of bracket
as shown.

Replace washer and nut (A) finger tignt, and attach
the inner cable to swivel on throttle lever ensuring
that the nipple fits into socket provided on one
side of slot.

Tighten nut (A) to secure in this position.

Check that throttle operates freely and returns to
idle position.

Do not loosen nut (B) unnecessarily, since it has
been located properly at the factory.

Reinstall air filter and cover.

Connect stop lead and ground lead by couplers .

The engine is delivered with throttle cable (engine  side)
separated, assemble the cable to carburetor as follows.
