Before you start
U-handle version
Operation shaft assembly
1. Stand the engine upright on a level surface.
2. Slide the shaft tube assembly (A) onto the engine (B).
3. Tighten the four bolts (C) to fasten the shaft tube assembly.
U-handle assembly
1. Loosen the screw (A) of the throttle grip (B) and remove the
screw and nut (C).
2. Slip the right-side handle into the throttle grip and fit it to the
slot (D) for rotation prevention.
3. Locate the throttle grip so that the screw can pass through
the stopper hole (E).
4. Securely tighten the screw and nut.
1. Loosen handle bar support bolts (A).
2. Locate handle bar in a comfortable operating position and
tighten 4 bolts (M5×25).
3. To eliminate loosening of throttle wire (B) fix it to shaft tube
(2 places) (C) and to right hand U-handle (1 place) with wire
fixing clips (D).
G: Nuts
CAUTION
Install the handle so that it does not hide any of the
safety decals.
CAUTION
After assembly, adjust the play of wire end (E) on carburet-
tor (F) side to 1 mm - 2 mm.
