covers
The ETRH model is designed to be portable,
but it also can be surface-mounted to a wall
using the two keyholes on the back.
1. Remove the covers to expose the
mounting keyholes. Use the two holes
for leverage to turn 90 degrees.
2. Install screws and wall anchors (not
provided) aligned to 6 cm (2.4 in) on
center to hang the switch.
Keycard Switch (PTM265KCA)
The PTM265KCA model has a removable
faceplate and rear plate for surface-
mounting to a wall. The switch is activated
by a 85.60x53.98 mm (3.37x2.125 in) card that is 0.76 mm (0.03 in)
thick, as specified by ISO/IEC7810 ID-1.
1. Remove the faceplate screws and assembly that includes the front
cover and keycard slot.
2. Use the four mounting holes in the rear mounting plate to attach the
switch to a wall surface with screws and wall anchors (not provided).
Note:
The keycard switch can be mounted to an electrical wall box
using a barrier partition accessory, which is sold separately.
3. Reattach the faceplate assembly. Do not over-tighten the screws.
4. Test the card action. An audible click confirms the switch activation
with each insert and removal.
