Problem

1. Receiver does not
respond to the RCU.

Batteries are empty.

channel on your TV.

You did not use a correct
SCART cable.

Use only a full featured
SCART cable that is
correctly shielded.
3. My television shows black
areas on the left and right
of the screen.

You did not select the
correct aspect ratio for
your TV.

On the receiver, in the
TV System menu select
the correct aspect ratio.
4. During (initial) setup of the
receiver, no channels are
found.

You did not select the
correct LNB(F).

On the receiver, in the
installation setup menu
select the correct LNB(F).

When installed, you have
selected the incorrect
switch port.
