General setup
This subpage allows the user to configure general parameters of the Hughes 4200. A description of each
item is as follows:
Terminal Startup:
•
Auto Power On:
When enabled, the terminal will automatically power on when connected to
the AC/DC adapter.
•
Antenna Pointing:
This parameter is used if the terminal is permanently mounted and you want
to bypass antenna pointing on subsequent power ups. For permanent installations it is also
rec
ommended to enable “Auto Power On” to avoid having to use the power button.
Language:
Allows the user to select between 5 different languages by clicking the drop-down arrow,
select the language and then click the
“Apply Changes”
button.
Telephony Settings:
Allows the user to configure the Telephony Service to use:
•
Wired Phone: Always use the POTS phone.
•
SIP Phone Only: Always use the SIP phone.
•
SIP Phone Preferred: Use the SIP phone if available, otherwise use POTS.
