EPG
MENU
- P
ROGRAM
INFORMATION
The
key gives access to the EPG menu, where you control the timers and view the
information in the Electronic Program Guide.
When the EPG menu shows, with the colored keys, you can access the timers and the powerful
tools for further organization of the EPG menu.
■
The
(Red) key gives, once in the Weekly EPG menu, access to the Daily EPG menu.
■
The
(Green) key, once in the Daily EPG menu, access to the Weekly EPG menu.
■
The
(Record) key gives access to the timer list. In the timer list you can select a PVR, a
Sleep or a Reminder (VCR) timer.
■
The
(
i
) key gives, if available from the service provider, access to the detailed program
information of the current selected program.
■
The
keys, once in the Daily EPG menu, lets you toggle between the Now and Next program
information.
NOTE
Most digital channels broadcast program data as an EPG. Digital channels that broadcast EPG
offer you program information in advance for a certain period of time. The EPG information is
not always available. Sometimes the service provider supplies only the program name, the now/
next information or sometimes nothing at all. EchoStar has no influence on this matter.
CAUTION
The Reminder timer does not start or program your video recorder (VCR). You have to set the
timer of your VCR also to the same time as on the receiver. Please refer to the user’s guide of
your VCR how to record from a satellite receiver.
