Audio 2
To set the language for programs with multi-lingual audio. For multi-lingual programs, if
available, you can choose your own language. The receiver will first look for the 1st selected
language, if not available, for the 2nd. If the two selected languages are not transmitted, audio
is given in the native language of that channel.
Subtitle
To set subtitles to On (show) or Off (Hide).

To set the language for programs with multi-lingual subtitles. For multi-lingual programs, if
available, you can choose your own language. The receiver will first look for the 1st selected
language, if not available, for the 2nd. If the two selected languages are not transmitted, no
subtitle is shown. If you do not want to have any subtitles, select Off.

InfoBanner time-out
When you change to another channel, the InfoBanner shows momentarily. With this option
you can set the view time for the InfoBanner.
Transparency
To set the transparency level of the On-Screen-Display (OSD) menu.

User profile
TV Signal
To select the video output for the TV and VCR output (SCART).
Aspect ratio
To set the image size for the TV.
If you have a TV with a 4:3 screen size and the transmission is in 16:9 format, you can select
either 4:3, 4:3 Letterbox or 16:9. 4:3 shows the full screen completely where some of the
image sides is cut off, 16:9 will show the full image with black top and bottom banners.
Dolby Digital
To tell the receiver that it is connected to a Dolby Digital amplifier or not. When you have
selected On, note that analog audio is not given to the TV, so no audio is heard. If you want to
listen through the TV audio, select Off.
TV System
To set the video standard supported by your TV (UHF modulator only)
Channel change
To set the channel transition effect.
UHF channel
Factory default:
UHF channel 38 (607.25MHz).
To set the TV channel to which the receiver is connected. If the channel number on the TV and
receiver are not the same, you will have a distorted or no image at all. For more information,
please refer to the user manual of the TV.
Video standard
To set the video standard as supported by your TV.
Generally select for the European main land; PAL B/G and for the UK; PAL I.
