Fill the bean hopper with
roasted coffee-/espresso
beans.
Open the lock slide.
Plug the electrical cord
into an outlet and switch
the
grinder on. The grinder is
now operational.
Important: Never fill the bean hopper with already ground coffee. Never place a finger or other items into
the grinding mechanism, nor the ground coffee funnel.
Emergency Stop Operation:
The grinder may be stopped immediately by activating the On/Off switch
4.2 Adjusting the grind
The grind adjustment should be made while the grinder is operating.

Turn the grinder on. The bean hopper should be filled with coffee beans. Open the lock slide by pulling it
outward.

Perform a trial grind by shortly activating the grinding button.

In case the grind is
a.
too coarse, turn the grind level adjuster clockwise (numbers on the scale are getting
smaller).
b.
too fine, turn the grind level adjuster counter-clockwise (numbers on the scale are getting
larger).

Please use only small steps in adjusting the grind; e.g. only ½ turn of the adjuster.
5 PROGRAMMING & GRINDING
5.1 Fixating the portafilter and adjusting the height
During grinding, the portafilter can be comfortably rested on
the portafilter bracket. The bracket can be adjusted for
different portafilter heights by loosening both Allen screws
with an Allen key (2.5mm).
Grind becomes
finer.
