Battery Management
Low Battery Alarm
When the battery is nearly exhausted the first blue
LED will flash to remind you to connect the lamp.
Check the Status of the Battery Charge
At any time you can know how much charge the
battery has, to do this press the side switch, the blue
LEDs will show like this:
•
1 LED on: Charge between 0 and 25%.
•
2 LEDs on: Charge between 25 and
50%.
•
3 LEDs on: Charge between 50 and
75%.
•
4 LEDs on: Charge between 75 and 100%.
•
After 5 seconds they will automatically turn off.
Recommendations
•
When Charging: Lithium ion chemistry prefers partial discharge to deep
discharge, so it's best to avoid taking the battery all the way down to zero.
Since lithium-ion chemistry does not have a "memory", you do not harm
the battery with a partial discharge. In other words,
you can connect
whenever you want without having to wait until it is drained out.
•
Avoid heat, which degrades the batteries.
•
Dispose properly (please visit
www.call2recycle.org
).
•
Lithium batteries are ruined if stored for a long period of time without
charge. Try to keep the battery with at least 50% of the charge, if you stop
using the lamp for a few months the battery can retain its integrity much
better.
