CLEANING
See page 4, fig. 2
Disconnect from the mains before cleaning the unit or any of its components.
Cleaning the air filter
Air circulation is impeded and the efficiency of the dehumidifying and air purifying
functions decreases when the filter is dirty. It is therefore good practice to clean the
filter at regular intervals. The precise intervals depend on the room in which the
appliance operates and on how frequently it is used.
• Remove the filter (4) by sliding it out.
• Clean the filter or wash in tap water.
• Dry the filter before inserting it back.
Housing
Wipe regularly clean with a moist cloth and mild household detergent.
Servicing
Have your dehumidifier once a year serviced by a qualified engineer.
DRAINAGE
Through the mounted drain (page 4, Fig. 3) the condensation water can be
collected or led to a drain, using a hose, which runs down the entire length and is
free of kinks and bends.
Installation of a fixed drain
• Attach a hose or pipe of the correct diameter to the outlet of the dehumidifier.
• Place the other end of this hose or pipe without kinks or twists into a drain.
• This hose or pipe should gradually descend from the connection point to the drain.
• Ensure that the end of this drain is NOT below the water level of the drain/well.
The drain is mounted on the right side as standard. To change the drain, the rear
panel must be unscrewed, this may only be done by qualified professionals. Make
sure that all screws and washers are fitted back to their original position when
replacing.
CAUTION: In very cold weather conditions precautions should be taken to prevent
the drainage pipe from freezing.
