-Only dry powder fire extinguishers can be used in case of fire in batteries. Liquid fire
extinguishers are prohibited.

Remember that with the exception of small localized fires, only firefighters are equipped and
authorized to intervene in the extinction of the fire. If the fire has spread, you must leave the place
and get yourself safe immediately.
1.3. Maintenance
The
ecoSMART
equipment does not require specific maintenance after commissioning.
The internal controller monitors a large number of parameters and will produce a
warning if any problem arises, in which case we recommend you contact your
distributor.

All maintenance work must be performed by an authorised technician. Improper handling of the
equipment as a whole can result in personal injury and/or damage to materials.
▪
Do not spill water or other liquids directly on the device to clean it, as this could cause an electric
shock or fire.
▪
Do not manipulate or bypass the electrical protections of the devices. It could cause irreversible
damage to the equipment.
▪
Do not make modifications on the electrical connection and communication lines with the storage
system without the express authorization of the manufacturer.
2. TRANSPORT, WAREHOUSING AND PLACEMENT
2.1. Transport and handeling
The
e-system
must be transported vertically and not exposed to adverse weather
conditions. It can be lain carefully on its rear side to facilitate transportation to the
installation site.

Due to its heavy weight, the
e-system
should be handled by two workers using a forklift for heavy
loads.
2.2. Warehousing and non-use periods
After a long period of non-use, the battery modules will discharge automatically to the
minimum level of energy in a process that can irreversibly damage the batteries. For this
reasons the battery modules should not be stored for longer than six months, and
always under the following conditions:
