SET REFRESH START TIME
By default the Central Water Filtration System will start
a Refresh cycle at 01:00.
To change the Refresh start time:
1
. Press the PROGRAM
button several times ,until
“RECHARGE TIME” is
shown in the display.

. Press
r
UP or
s
DOWN
to set the Refresh start time.
3
. Press the PROGRAM button a few times, until the
time appears in the display, but is not flashing.
SET LENGTH OF REFRESH
By default the system’s Refresh cycle will consist of a
2 minute backwash followed by a 1 minute fast rinse.
This should be sufficient for most applications.
To change the length of the
backwash
part of the
Refresh cycle:
1
. Press and hold the PROGRAM button for a few sec -
onds. Release when “000--” appears in the display.

. Press PROGRAM twice, so “bA TIME” appears in the
display.
MANUAL REFRESH MODE
Refresh cycles will run automatically, unless the auto -
matic Refresh function is disabled. If this function is
disabled, it will be necessary to manually initiate
Refresh cycles. A Refresh cycle should be run at least
once each month.
To disable the automatic Refresh function:
1
. Press and immediately release the REFRESH button.

. “VAC” should flash in the
display, indicating that the
Central Water Filtration
System is in the manual
Refresh mode.
To manually start a Refresh cycle:
1
. Press and hold the REFRESH button for a few sec -
onds, until “RECHARGE NOW” flashes in the display.
2
. When the Refresh cycle
is complete, the system
will remain in the manual
Refresh mode.
To re-enable the automatic
Refresh function:
1
. Press and immediately release the REFRESH button.
2
. The flashing “VAC” on the
display should be
replaced by the normal
time of day screen.

. Press

UP or
s
DOWN to set the length of fast
rinse in minutes.

. Press the PROGRAM button a few times, until the
time appears in the display, but is not flashing.

DOWN to set the length of back -
wash in minutes.

. Press the PROGRAM button a few times, until the
time appears in the display, but is not flashing.
To change the length of the
fast rinse
part of the
Refresh cycle:
1
. Press and hold the PROGRAM button for a few sec -
onds. Release when “000--” appears in the display.
2
. Press PROGRAM three times, so “Fr TIME” appears
in the display.
12 OR 24 HOUR CLOCK
At the default setting, all clock displays are shown in 24
hour time format. If 12 hour time format (1 to 12 AM;
and 1 to 12 PM) is desired, follow the steps below:

. Press and hold the
PROGRAM button for a
few seconds. Release
when “000--” appears in
the display.

. Press the PROGRAM
button once, and one of these two displays is shown:

UP or

DOWN to set the time format.

. Press the PROGRAM button a few times, until the
time appears in the display, but is not flashing.
