BEFORE USING THE APPLIANCE, READ ALL THE SAFETY
INSTRUCTIONS INCLUDED IN THIS MANUAL CAREFULLY.
IT WILL GIVE IMPORTANT ADVICE ON THE USE,
MAINTENANCE AND CLEANING OF THE APPLIANCE.
KEEP THIS MANUAL IN A SAFE PLACE FOR FUTURE
REFERENCE.
When using electrical appliances, the basic safety rules
specified below must be followed to reduce the risk of fire,
electric shock and personal injury:
• Before using the appliance, check that the voltage of your
appliance corresponds to the voltage of your mains supply.
• Remove the packaging and ensure that the appliance is in
perfect condition and that all of its accessories are present.
In case of doubt, do not use the fan and contact the supplier.
Do not let children play with packaging parts (such as plastic
bags).
• Before connecting the fan to the power source, check that
the mains voltage corresponds with the voltage marked on
the ID plate on top of the motor unit.
• Do not plug the fan into the mains until it has been
completely assembled.
• Do not use the appliance for purposes other than those for
which it has been designed. Any other use that has not been
recommended by the manufacturer can cause a risk of fire,
electric shock, physical or material damage.
• This appliance has been designed solely for domestic use.
• The appliance could be used by children aged 8 and above
and by persons with physical, sensory or mental impairments
or lacking of experience and knowledge as long as they are
supervised or have been given the appropriate information
on how to safely use the appliance and as long as they
understand the dangers involved with its use. Children shall
not play with the appliance. Cleaning and maintenance
should not be performed by children if unsupervised.
• For safety reasons, do not use or leave the appliance
unattended in the presence of children, elderly people or
disabled people.
• This appliance is for indoor use. Do not use outdoors.
• Do not immerse the appliance in water or other liquids.
• Do not touch the fan with wet hands.
• Do not use the appliance if you are barefoot.
• The fan must be placed at a minimum distance of 2.35
metres from the ground.
• It does not come with internal spare parts. Repairs must
only be carried out by authorised technicians.
• Ensure that you disconnect the electrical current from the
fuses or automatic input circuit breaker (thermal cutout)
before wiring or inspecting the fan, in order to avoid electric
shock.
• All the connections must comply with Electricity Standards
and the appliance must be grounded in order to avoid
electric shock.
• We recommend that installation is carried out by a
qualified technician who can test the resistance of the roof
supporting the fan and who will make correct electrical
connections.
• The fan must be connected to an omnipolar switch with a
minimum distance of 3mm between contacts.
• Do not use the fan if the blades are cracked or damaged.
• Do not spray with nebulisers/ sprays (insecticides, lacquers,
etc…). This could damage the appliance.
• To minimise any risk of fire or electrocution, do not use the
fan with a speed controller, a frequency converter, an electric
programmer or any other device that can operate the fan
automatically.
• In the event of abnormal situations, turn off the appliance
immediately and contact the seller
