• Read the instructions carefully and keep them with the
appliance. Ensure that you have fully understood the safety
precautions mentioned here.
• Ensure that the voltage of the mains supply corresponds
with the voltage stated in the product specifications.
• This appliance is for indoor use only.
• Do not touch the hot surface. Use the handle.
• Switch off and unplug the appliance from the mains when
not in use, as well as before cleaning. Let the appliance cool
down before attaching or removing parts and before
cleaning it.

• Unplug the appliance after use. Unplug it by pulling on the
plug, not on the cord.

from the countertop and do not let it touch any hot surface.
• The temperature of the accessible surfaces can be high
when the appliance is in use. If the cord is damaged, it must
be replaced by the manufacturer, their commercial agent or
a similarly qualified person, in order to avoid risks.
• Do not operate any appliance that is damaged or that is
not functioning properly. To avoid the risk of electric shock,
never attempt to repair the appliance yourself. Bring it to an
after-sales service for inspection and repair.
• Do not use the appliance with an extension cord, unless it
has been checked and tested by a qualified technician or a
person from the after-sales service.
• Do not use the appliance outdoors or for commercial

• The appliance could be used by children aged 8 and above

as they are supervised or have been given the appropriate

Children shall not play with the appliance. Children should
not carry out cleaning or maintenance of the appliance when
unsupervised. Keep the appliance and cord out of the reach
of children under 8 years old.

WARNING: do not use the sandwich toaster in a vertical
position. This position is only recommended for storage.
INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE
• Close the sandwich toaster and plug it into the wall socket.
The on/off light will come on as well as the operating light,
which means that the appliance is starting to heat up.
• The sandwich toaster will take around 5 minutes to reach
its operating temperature. Once it has reached that
temperature, the operating light will go off.
• Open the sandwich toaster and place the sandwich, meat
or other foods onto the lower plate.
• Close the sandwich toaster. The operating light will go on
again.
• Cook the food for 3 to 6 minutes (after this time the
operating light will go off again) or until the food has
browned as desired.
• Once the food is cooked enough, open the lid, using the
handle. Take out the food, using a plastic spatula. Never use
metal tongs or knives; these utensils can damage the
non-stick coating on the toasting plates.
• After use, unplug the sandwich toaster from the wall socket
and leave it open so that it cools down. Then, clean the
appliance.
