FITTING INSTRUCTIONS ELECTRIC WIRINGKIT TOWBAR WITH 12-N SOCKET UP TO
DIN/ISO NORM 1724

Remove the battery earth cable.
Remove the left side covering from the car.
Drill a hole just behind the socketplate of the towbar, or look for an existing rubber grommet
Remove carefully all metal particles around the hole and treat it with anti-rust paint.
Fit the rubber grommet in the hole.
Route the wiring-harness in the boot and lead the 8-pole end through the hole to the socket.
Pull the coverplate over the harness.
Remove the contactholder from the socket and fit the wires as follows:
The lenght of the wireharness is conform as mentioned in the instruction-manuel of the vehicle.
Lead the wireharnes to the fusebox wich is located on the left side under the driver seat.
Connect the wireharness conform as mentioned in the instruction-manuel or the workshop-manuel.
Dismount the fusebox if necessary.
Connect the wireharness with the supplied pinch-connector in the fusebox.
Connect the red wire to the output of the brake light switch.
Fit the white wire to the present earthbolt to the rearshield of the vehicle.
Reconnect the battery earhtcable and check all electric functions, with the trailer/caravan connected.
Reinstall disassembled parts.
