When you are unsure of the spelling of a word, the multilingual spell-checker

will help you.

Type the word as you hear it. For example, “foll” for “fall”.

Select the desired word and press ENTER.

The Text-To-Speech technology provides pronunciation of any English words and
phrases.

Display an entry.
Use:

to listen to the pronunciation of the headword
•
SHIFT+ to listen to the pronunciation of all displayed translations.

You also can listen to any selected words or phrases listed in the entry.
Simply make the selection by using

and press the key.

Certain words have several variants of pronunciation. So the pronunciation of
the TTS engine and the given phonetic transcription may be different. In this
case, consider the variant given in the dictionary as the basic one.

The device is able to generate pronunciation of any text, not limited to
dictionary entries. Simply type a word or phrase in the input line of the
corresponding
Dictionary
and press the key to listen to its pronunciation.
USER'S DICTIONARY
EB400T allows you to create your own vocabulary.

Enter the
User’s Dictionary
section and choose one of the user’s dictionaries
– English or Bulgarian.
