CHORDS
The keyboard has several functions to help beginners play 4 types of chords (major, minor,
major 7th and minor 7th) with minimal fingering.
NOTE:
When you activate
Single finger
,
Multi-finger
or
CHORD SOUND
functions,
you assign the keys 1-19 on the left of the keyboard for chord use only. These keys
cannot be used to play a melody until the function is turned off.
Single finger
• Press SINGLE to turn on the single-finger chord function.
Sin
will display on the LED
screen. You can now press any of the chord keys (1-19) on the left of the keyboard. The
finger patterns required are shown in the table.
• While the rhythm is playing, you can press
SINGLE
to activate the automatic chord function.
Play the desired chord key sequence and the keyboard will add them to the rhythm.
• Press
SINGLE
again to turn off this function.
Multi finger
• Press
FINGERED
to turn on the multi-finger chord function.
Fin
will display on the LED
screen. You can now press any of the chord keys (1-19) on the left of the keyboard. In this
mode you will need to press all of the keys that comprise a chord in order to play it. An
example of the finger patterns required are shown in the table.
• While the rhythm is playing, you can press
FINGERED
to activate the automatic chord
function. Play the desired chord key sequence and the keyboard will add them to the rhythm.
• Press
FINGERED
again to turn off this function.
CHORD SOUND
• Press
CHORD SOUND
repeatedly to select different chord tones for accompaniment.
• Press
CHORD SOUND
again and it will return to the original chord sound.
