Commissioning and operation
The forward and return movements of the splitting wedge can be
controlled via the control valve on the handle (see Fig. 1).

The standard 10 m hose connection between the hydraulic drive and the
Log Splitter allows sufficient room to move for the operator.
The wedge is driven into the log from the lateral surface, while the
counterforce is absorbed by the cross-cutting edge penetrating into the
face of the log (see Fig. 2). In the case of fibrous wood and long logs,
the device can also be used transversely (see Fig. 3). This allows the gap
to be widened as many times as desired to 220 mm width.
