Aut he nticatio n Mode
This setting has to be consiste nt with the wireless networks that
the adapter inte nds to connect.
Open System
– No aut he nticatio n is ne eded amo ng the wireless
network.
Shared Key
– Only wireless statio ns us ing a shared key (WEP
Key ide ntified) are allowed to connect each ot her.
Auto
– Auto switch the a ut he nticatio n a lgorit hm depe nding o n the
wireless networks that the adapter is connecting to.
WEP Encryptio n Key Setting
Click t his b utton to setup the WEP key. Please refer to Section
6.3 for the details.
WPA Encryptio n Setting
Click t his b utton to setup the WPA f unctio n. Please refer to
Sectio n 6.3 for the details.
Profile
Profile Na me
You can sa ve the network setting as a profile. To connect to the
network without mak ing additio nal co nfig uratio n, yo u can lo ad the
profile.
Load
Load the setting values from the file in the “Profile Na me“ list. The
new settings will be activated immed iately.
Save Curre nt
Inp ut a file na me a nd click “Sa ve Curre nt“ to write the curre nt
setting values to be a profile in the “Profile Name“ list.
Delete
Delete the profile yo u select.
