2. Hardw are Installation
1. Unpac k the print ser ver pac ka ge and ver if y tha t a ll
the ite ms liste d in the se c tion 1.2 are provided.
2. Connec t t he pr int se r ver to the printe r you want to
s hare on the net wor k.
3. Conne ct the pr int ser ver to your net wor k by a ttac hed
the net wor k ca ble to the UTP port of the pr int s er ver .
4. Connec t t he po we r ada pter to th e pr int ser ver . The
pr int se r ver will per for m the Powe r -On-Se lf -Tes t (P OST)
a fte r it is powered on. Dur in g the P OST, the thr ee Pr inter
Por t LEDs wi ll be on. When the LEDs are unlighte d, the
pr int s er ve r is read y.
NOTE1: MUST use the power adapter shipped with the print
server, do NOT use any other power adapter from any
sources.
NOTE2: To prevent the compatibility problem between print
server and a few printer, it is recommended that you
power on the print server before the printer.
