WARNING
To reduce the risk of fire and electric shock, connect the docking station only to a covered
Class A GFCI receptacle that has an enclosure that is weatherproof with an attachment
plug cap inserted or removed. Do not use with receptacles that are weatherproof only
when the receptacle is covered (attachment plug cap not inserted and receptacle cover
closed). Ensure that the docking station is located in su
ffi
cient proximity to reach a
covered Class A GFCI receptacle with the power supply cord. Do not use an extension
cord. Use of extension cords are not authorized and increase the risk of electric shock
and fire. Always ensure that the power supply cord is out of the cutting path of the worker
robot.
There are 2 options to install the docking station:
1) Install the docking station on your terrace or non-grass, hard and flat surface
(preferred installation method):
•
Place the docking station on the terrace or non-grass, hard and flat surface.
•
Make sure there is a half circle with 12 feet or 3 meter radius of clearance in front
of the docking station.
•
Plugin the charger station power cord.
We recommend you to install the docking station on your terrace.
2) Install the docking station on the grass, in your mowing area:
•
Place the docking station on the grass, at the edge of the grass.
•
Make sure there is a half circle with 12 feet or 3 meter radius of clearance in front
of the docking station.
•
Secure the docking station by inserting the 3 pins.
•
Plugin the charger station power cord.
For any of the chosen installation option, make sure:
•
The docking station is installed on a flat surface, with minimum 11 square feet or one
square meter of flat area in front of the docking station. The flat surface needs to
be 0° horizontal flat.
