16. Cleaning
WARNING
To reduce the risk of personal injury from unintended activation, activate the disabling
device. Disconnect the power supply from the electrical outlet before carrying out any cleaning
work. Users of this worker robot should carry out only the cleaning described in this manual. To
help prevent injuries, always wear heavy-duty work gloves when handling the mowing blade.
To clean the worker robot and the docking station:
•
Activate the disabling device.
•
Place the worker robot on a firm, level and flat surface for cleaning the upper side of the
worker robot. Protect the worker robot by using a protection means by laying cardboard
or fabric on the flat surface.
•
To clean the underside of the machine (mowing blade, mowing deck), tilt the worker
robot onto its front screen. Make sure the screen rests on fabric or cardboard to avoid
scratches on the screen. Scratches on the screen may hamper the working of the
device.
•
Remove accumulated clipping deposits in the housing and in the mowing deck.
•
Clean o

dirt with a brush or a cloth. Do not use detergents or harsh solvents, which
may damage or weaken polymer components.

Clean the docking station with a brush, a slightly dampened cloth or resin solvent. Do
not use detergents.
•
Remove grass residues.
•
Never use a hose or a pressure washer to clean the worker robot or docking station or
spray them with water or other liquids.
NOTICE
Never use a hose or a pressure washer to clean the worker robot or docking station.
Spraying the mower or docking station with water or other liquids could lead to
permanent damage.
