7.3
Extended maintenance
After approx. 50 operating hours, extended maintenance must be carried out.
7.3.1 Lubrication of the EFA pneumatically operated breastbone saw
Disconnect the saw from the compressed air network.
To ensure the lubrication of the sliders and the gear unit, the machine must be greased at the grease nipples
(1) and (2) with 1 – 2 strokes from the grease gun.
7.3.2 Extended maintenance after 400 operating hours
If the performance decreases or after approx. 400 operating hours, the rotor blades of the pneumatic
motor must be checked for wear and replaced if necessary (in this case we recommend sending the EFA
pneumatically operated breastbone saw to our Service department).
A soiled sound absorber (1) must be cleaned or replaced.
