8.1 

Repair by the customer service 

Only qualified persons are authorised to perform repairs. The 

EFA Service department of Schmid & Wezel 

GmbH

 is at your disposal for repairs.  

In the event of faults that cannot be clearly localised, the machine should always be returned to 

Schmid & 

Wezel GmbH

 for repair. 

Do not repair defective devices on site (in the immediate vicinity of foodstuffs)! 
Provide all of the necessary tools and ensure that the work environment is clean.

Before carrying out any maintenance work, switch off the device and disconnect it from the 
electrical system or compressed air network! 

 

9.  Waste disposal, recycling 

The machine must be disposed of in accordance with the valid legal regulations of the respective countries. 

9.1 

Disassembly and disposal  

Old and used machines contain reusable materials that can be recycled. 
During disposal, it is essential to observe regional and local environmental protection regulations. 

  Disconnect the machine from the compressed air supply. 

  Disassemble the machine completely. 

  Degrease the machine completely. 

  Dispose of used oil and components and materials contaminated with oil in accordance with the applicable 

environmental conditions. 

  Separate all reusable materials according to type. 

  Sort the individual reusable materials for recycling and disposal. 

  Dispose of the hazardous waste at a local hazardous waste disposal site. 

Or: 

  Return your waste electrical equipment to our head office.
