• To avoid risks, repairs must be carried out by the authorized customer service only.
• Should the cord to the appliance be damaged, it must be replaced by the manufacturer or

Disposal
If the electrical appliance is no longer being used, it must be handed over to the
relevant local public waste authorities for disposal. As a rule, these waste disposal
authorities run special reception units for electrical appliances (Recycling centres,
materials recovery centres, etc.)
The electrical appliance does not belong in household waste disposal.
This also applies to electrical appliances that were last used in non-private sector, e.g. in
branches of trade or industry. In cases where public waste disposal authorities do not accept
electrical appliances that have been used for non-private purposes, their waste advisory
services can provide information on environmentally sound disposal.
