Instructions for Use

• Hair should be cleaned, dry and tangle free before using the product.
• Plug the appliance into a suitable mains socket.
• Ensure the voltage being used is correct voltage for this product.
• There is a locking mechanism on the crimper that allows you to lock the plates together for 

easy storage.

• To unlock the plates press the circular disc on the hinge.
• To lock, hold the plates together and press the circular disc on the hinge.
• The indicator light will glow red when the unit is switched on.
• Allow unit to cool before storing away.
• Take extra care when using the crimper as it can get very hot.

Usage

• Make sure the hair is dry and there are no knots or tangles within the hair to avoid any 

snagging.

• Section the hair into manageable sections.
• Tease your hair at the crown and work your way around the head.
• Start crimping at the roots and then down to the tips of the hair.
• Be careful not to let the appliance touch the scalp.
• Hold in place for 8-10 seconds.
• For a continuous crimped effect place the plate on the last ridge of the previous section and 

continue down the hair section.

• For a soft effect, loosen the section with your fingers or brush to increase volume.
• If you want volume and lift then crimp your hair at the roots!

Cleaning and maintenance 

• Switch off the appliance and unplug it. Let the appliance cool completely on a heat resistant 

surface before cleaning. 

• Make sure that the appliance is out of reach of children.
• Never immerse the appliance or cord in water or other liquids.
• Clean the appliance with a soft cloth or sponge moistened with a mild soap and water.
• Dry thoroughly before use.
• Do not use any harsh detergents, abrasives, solvents or cleaners.
• Do not wind the cord around the appliance.

Storage

• Make sure that the appliance has cooled completely.
• Ensure the appliance is completely dry, switched off and unplugged from the mains before 

storage.

• Store the appliance in a dry safe place away from children after use.

Intended use

• The EFALOCK CRIMP´s must be used only for crimping human scalp hair.
